Thanks for sharing this! I love the perspective in the article—self-discipline really is the key to real freedom. The idea that freedom isn’t about doing whatever we want, but rather having the control to pursue what truly matters, really resonated with me. It’s such a powerful mindset shift.
I’ve been focusing on building that kind of discipline in my own life, and it’s made a huge difference. Curious to hear—how has self-discipline changed things for you personally?
Hi Ami! Thank you for the comment and thank you for your question.
Self-discipline has helped me in multiple areas. I thing the most relevant, in order of priority for me are family, myself, financials & work.
- My main family goal is to become a good role model for my kids and a supportive and reliable partner for my spouse, and I think this journey is taking me where I want to go on that field.
- My main personal goal is to become healthier physically and mentally.
- My goals financially and work-wise is to make the best use of my time and skills to give value through my work. Which means that I constantly have to keep learning and applying in baby steps.
Self-discipline has given me the tools necessary to keep pushing through and keep my goals on sight.
