I love the reframe of rest as self-governance. Iβm currently working on adding intentional breaks to my own life, as a necessary part of the journey. It takes real discipline to stop the "constant grind" script and prioritize recharging, but I now see that its the only way to show up as our true selves.
Breaks are vital to be able to complete the journey in a sustainable way. And you are absolutely right; discipline is what helps us flip the script to sustainable self-governance.
I love the part about being an example of what you preach because most people talk about rest but never actually do it. you taking time off while running a publication shows itβs possible. this made me realize I need to stop feeling guilty about stepping

Thank you, Letisha! πππ
I know, sometimes it feels out of reach, but the truth is, resting is one of the little things we can control that can give us real leverage.
And yes, I need to practice what I preach, because it not only helps me, but people that I care about. Including you.
I appreciate you so so much Camilo β€οΈβπ₯
